Meet Ana!

Ana Toro Bello started with SharkNinja as an intern and has grown into her role as a Global Project Specialist through her exceptional work ethic and commitment to excellence. Originally from Venezuela, she spent 12 years living in Panama before moving to the United States to pursue a BBA with a major in management and a minor in psychology. Ana began her journey at SharkNinja as a Talent Attraction Intern, supporting the Early Talent team for 14 months. After graduating from college, she transitioned into her current role, where she has been for the past two years. In this position, she focuses on vendor management, contingent workforce management, AI research for talent acquisition, and supporting TA operations and programs.

Ana Toro Bello consistently delivers above and beyond expectations, demonstrating exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills. One of her standout achievements was streamlining SharkNinja’s agency partnerships—previously a complex landscape of 50+ fragmented contracts with no clear ownership. Ana took the initiative to identify all agency relationships, consolidate agreements, and negotiate cost savings. Through her efforts, she successfully aligned these contracts with Legal’s partnership framework, ensuring clarity, compliance, and financial efficiency. 

Beyond optimizing operations, Ana’s relentless curiosity and drive for innovation have been instrumental in advancing AI initiatives in Talent Acquisition. She proactively explores emerging tools, conducting demos with over six AI vendors to assess their potential impact. Her efforts have been crucial in piloting AI-driven solutions, ensuring SharkNinja stays ahead in leveraging technology to enhance TA processes. 

She has a keen ability to “spot the smoke”—recognizing inefficiencies before they become major roadblocks—and takes action to drive meaningful change. By looking beyond immediate needs, she uncovers opportunities for optimization and innovation, ensuring that SharkNinja’s talent strategies not only solve today’s challenges but also set the foundation for long-term success.

What does it mean to be Outrageously Extraordinary? 

To me, being outrageously extraordinary means embracing uniqueness and refusing to settle for the ordinary. It’s about pushing boundaries and consistently striving for the best possible outcome. It’s about stepping outside of your comfort zone and embracing challenges. Being OE is the best possible way to continue learning and growing!

What’s your True Edge, or what are you working to build? 

My True Edge lies in driving innovation, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement in the Global Talent Access team. We focus on identifying and implementing cutting-edge tools and processes that enhance efficiency, elevate outcomes, and create a seamless experience for both candidates and stakeholders. I believe in empowering teams through smart technology adoption, optimizing operational effectiveness, and prioritizing business impact over routine execution. My goal is to create a competitive advantage that isn’t just effective, it’s transformative and future-proof. 

 

Can you share examples of how you live “OE”?   

I live OE by continuously seeking ways to optimize, innovate, and elevate the way we approach TA. Rather than accepting the status quo, I work to find creative ways to integrate tools into our daily workflows to enhance efficiency and decision-making. Another way I embody OE is through my approach to vendor management. I ensure that discussions focus on business outcomes, ROI, and ensuring that any vendor we select brings true strategic value. I also step outside my comfort zone by fostering cross-functional collaboration, engaging key stakeholders, and challenging existing processes to drive continuous improvement. For me, OE isn’t just about operational excellence, it’s about staying proactive, embracing change, and always striving to go beyond what’s expected.
