Meet Anusha!
Anusha Venugopalan brings a unique blend of engineering expertise and talent acquisition experience to her role at SharkNinja. With a degree in engineering, she began her career as a software engineer before transitioning into recruitment, where she has spent over a decade specializing in hiring top engineers and executive talent.
A long-time fan of SharkNinja’s products, Anusha joined the company in May 2023 to lead talent acquisition programs, focusing on driving innovation and operational excellence in the hiring process. Originally based in Toronto and working out of SharkNinja’s Canadian office, Anusha relocated to Massachusetts in 2024 to further scale the Global Talent Intelligence, Operations & Experience teams.

Anusha challenges the status quo by leveraging new technologies to enhance SharkNinja’s ability to track, analyze, and predict talent trends. Instead of relying solely on traditional systems, she spearheaded the implementation of advanced reporting tools, providing deeper insights and enabling more informed strategic decisions.
As AI reshapes the talent landscape, Anusha has taken a deliberate, data-driven approach. Over the past several months, her teams have rigorously tested emerging AI tools, ensuring investments focus on solutions that genuinely optimize the hiring process by driving accountability, consistency, and inclusivity. By balancing innovation with strategy, she continues to push the boundaries—delivering measurable impact and shaping the future of talent operations.
Through her agility, collaboration, and determination, Anusha has transformed how the global talent acquisition function operates. She led the development of global hiring reports that are not only more detailed and accurate but also more impactful. By redefining how and when the team reports to the business, she has empowered stakeholders with better insights, fostered accountability, and increased transparency in key areas for improvement.

OE to me is raising the bar in everything we do and challenging the status quo every day!

What’s your True Edge, or what are you working to build?
Our True Edge is to create a forward-thinking, boundary-pushing Talent Operations Center of Excellence (CoE) team. We’re driven by a focus to achieve game changing outcomes—by continuously iterating and adapting to build innovative Talent Access processes for our Talent teams. We are leveraging advanced tools, analytics, and AI insights, and just like our 5-star customer experience, we’re focused on creating 5-star candidate experiences. Our Talent Access teams will not only be operationally efficient but also uniquely tailored to ensure we are hiring Outrageously Extraordinary (OE) talent and elevating SharkNinja’s Talent Access function. Most importantly, we’re not settling for good enough!
Can you share examples of how you live OE?
To be able to get smarter every day, you need to LEARN everyday and for me it’s been hugely beneficial to intentionally cross collaborate with various teams to get different perspectives to be able to innovate within my own function.

Traditionally, Talent Acquisition teams have seen little evolution, mostly relying on familiar methods and processes. That’s why it’s incredibly refreshing to be part of a company like SharkNinja that not only encourages creativity but also gives my team the freedom to explore bold ideas and take risks! We get to challenge outdated approaches, experiment with new technologies in ways that truly transform how we operate.
