True Edge Tuesday with Echo Li

Echo Li joined SharkNinja in mid-2019 and quickly made an impact—first managing commodity accessories, then driving success across our hair dryer and corded stick floorcare groups through 2021. Today, she leads our Motor & Power Cord Commodity team, continuing to deliver results with precision and passion.
Echo’s outstanding contributions haven’t gone unnoticed—she was honored with the Rising Star Award at the Global Outrageously Extraordinary Awards, a testament to her dedication, innovation, and embodiment of the Outrageously Extraordinary mindset.
Outrageously Extraordinary in Action
Echo spearheaded the localization of motor sourcing in Southeast Asia to strengthen SharkNinja’s supply chain resilience. Acting as a project lead in 2024, she coordinated more than 30 localization initiatives. Through cross-functional collaboration and strategic leadership, she delivered results with no added cost burden, all while keeping the momentum strong. Echo has made a massive financial and operational impact, demonstrating the power of strategic thinking, negotiation, and leadership in supply chain management.
OE means breaking boundaries. We’re not satisfied with average — we challenge the norm. Believe it can happen, and it will.”
We live by ‘progress over perfection.’ That mindset helps us move fast and be brave enough to take risks and keep going.”
Every day brings new challenges, but that’s how I grow stronger and build my armor for change.”

Hear from Echo
What does it mean to be Outrageously Extraordinary (OE)?
To me, OE means breaking boundaries. We’re not satisfied with doing things at a standard or average level—we aim to challenge the norm. Believe it can happen—and it will.
True Edge is described as “a key principle of the OE mindset, combining vigilance, innovative insight, and strategic solutions to create a competitive advantage that is exceptionally hard to replicate.”
What’s your True Edge, or what are you working to build?
For me, even a small piece of information from one source makes me eager to verify it with others and learn the full details. Then I look carefully for any signs of risk so I can take action early.
Can you share examples of how you live OE?
We built a new regional sourcing strategy from the ground up—aligning cross-functional teams, collaborating with suppliers, and ensuring quality every step of the way.
I learned that when priorities conflict across teams, listening and finding collaboration opportunities is key. If progress stalls, it usually means breaking big projects into smaller, manageable steps and staying persistent.
What makes working at SharkNinja special?
Every day at SharkNinja brings new challenges, and my personality fits well with the company culture. I’m able to learn new skills and grow quickly, building my own “armor” to face constant change. We understand that mistakes happen during progress, and we live by the idea of “progress over perfection.” This mindset helps SharkNinja move fast and gives us the courage to take risks and keep moving forward.
Join us in congratulating Echo for being this week's True Edge Tuesday!
