True Edge Tuesday with Jenny Flight

Jenny embodies the “progress over perfection” mindset, driving continuous improvement, delivering results beyond her role, and making a lasting impact through exceptional communication, project management, and operational excellence.

At SharkNinja, we strive for the outrageously extraordinary in everything we do, driven by our True Edge – the super skills that set us apart. This cornerstone of the Outrageously Extraordinary mindset harnesses innovative insight and strategic solutions to create a competitive advantage, empowering us to positively impact people’s lives every day.

True Edge Tuesday celebrates team members who go above and beyond, showcasing what it means to reject the status quo and embrace the extraordinary.

Meet Jenny!

For nearly four years, Jenny Flight has led the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team in EMEA, overseeing end-to-end customer communications for SharkNinja’s direct-to-consumer business on sharkhome.com and ninjakitchen.com—from marketing campaigns to order confirmations. A self-proclaimed CRM enthusiast, Jenny keeps a pulse on the latest trends in email marketing to connect with consumers in meaningful and memorable ways. On the personal front, Jenny is a proud mom to two boys, Freddie (10) and Archie (8).

OE In Action

Always solutions-focused, Jenny sees opportunities where others see obstacles and motivates those around her to take action. She digs deep into the details, never settling for surface-level stats to solve a problem for consumers. For example, Jenny recently reviewed hundreds of call transcripts to investigate the root cause behind certain product returns and identified opportunities for improvement—whether by passing feedback back to our product teams or optimizing processes to streamline the customer experience. As a result, her insights led to key process enhancements that reduced return rates and improved customer satisfaction. It was this proactive problem solving and customer centricity that made Jenny a natural choice for interim leader of the Customer Experience (CX) team for six months last year.

Late last year, Jenny also managed the migration of SharkNinja’s CRM technology and infrastructure in EMEA. This complex, high-stakes project was delivered on time and ahead of peak season, ensuring there was no impact on customer experience.  Not only was the implementation completed at an unprecedented pace—faster than the migration partner had previously seen for a project of this scale—but it also led to record CRM results in Q4 across the UK, Germany, and France. Jenny’s exceptional leadership and execution on this initiative were repeatedly acknowledged in her performance assessment feedback.

Hear from Jenny

What does it mean to be Outrageously Extraordinary?

To be so obsessed and so passionate about what we do, that we are never satisfied, to keep pushing beyond our abilities and explore the unknown and ultimately be the best at what we do.

True Edge is described as “a key principle of the OE mindset, combining vigilance, innovative insight, and strategic solutions to create a competitive advantage that is exceptionally hard to replicate.”

What’s your True Edge, or what are you working to build?

My true edge is restlessness, what I mean by that is I’m never quite satisfied, I always need to know more and understand the details. If a campaign didn’t perform as expected, why – what can we do next time?

Can you share examples of how you live “OE”?

I’m ridiculously nosey, I have to be in the details and ask those second and third questions. I’m also quite competitive (my team will nod and agree) so I’m always on the lookout for more, or better.

What makes working at SharkNinja special?

Two things 1. People and 2. Product. I’ve never worked in a team which work so well together and are so ridiculously talented, then there’s the product – my kitchen is literally THE Ninja kitchen! To be able to work for a business where you are genuinely proud of the product you sell, and you can’t stop endorsing it to your friends and family! (I’m from an automotive background, so trust me when I say that’s not always the case!)

Join us in congratulating Jenny for being this week's True Edge Tuesday!
