With a passion for digital innovation and global engagement, Yasmin Sarwar serves as the Senior Digital Experience Manager at SharkNinja Germany. Holding a double master’s degree in international studies and War & Peace Research from Goethe University Frankfurt and TU Darmstadt, she brings a strategic, analytical approach to digital marketing. Since joining SharkNinja in 2021, Yasmin has advanced swiftly, earning two promotions before stepping into her leadership role in 2024. As SharkNinja Germany’s longest-serving employee, she has been instrumental in shaping the brand’s digital presence. Beyond work, she’s an avid traveler, always seeking new experiences and perspectives.
Outrageously Extraordinary in Action
Yasmin spearheaded the launch of over 300 new products on the German website—an ambitious feat that significantly expanded SharkNinja’s digital presence and solidified its position in a competitive market. But this wasn’t just about scale—it was about uniting people. Yasmin pushed the boundaries of what was thought possible by aligning teams across user experience, content, performance marketing, customer relationship management, and sales, rallying them around a bold, shared vision for digital transformation.
Improving conversion rates for both the Ninja and Shark brands in Germany was a challenge Yasmin was ready to tackle. When Yasmin stepped in, the task was complex—conversion rates needed improvement, engagement had room for growth, and the customer journey required optimization. But Yasmin, undeterred, saw this as an opportunity to revolutionize the digital experience. Recognizing the need for a complete overhaul, she boldly reimagined the entire strategy, bringing a cohesive, cross-functional vision to life.
Aligning diverse teams, each with its own goals and challenges, was no small task. Yet, Yasmin’s approach—rooted in open communication and relentless collaboration—went beyond improving navigation; she redefined the user experience. Her efforts didn’t just meet expectations—they surpassed them, delivering results once thought unattainable.
Yasmin didn’t stop at navigation; she also redesigned product pages to emphasize unique selling propositions (USPs)—the key features and benefits that set each product apart—transforming the shopping experience into an intuitive, customer-centric journey.
Her work didn’t just move the needle; it completely reset the standard for what success looked like in SharkNinja Germany’s hyper-growth phase. Whether fostering cross-department collaboration, or continually refining strategies, she turns every obstacle into an opportunity for greatness.

What does it mean to be Outrageously Extraordinary?
To me, being Outrageously Extraordinary (OE) is about continuously striving to do better, staying curious, and being open to new challenges. It’s big, bold ideas but also the small, everyday improvements that make a real difference. Whether it’s finding ways to improve the digital experience, optimize processes, or support my team, I try to approach my work with a mindset of learning and growth.
It also means collaborating with others, sharing knowledge, and helping to create an environment where people feel motivated and valued. Some of the best ideas come from working together, and I believe OE is as much about supporting the team as it is about personal achievement.
True Edge is described as “a key principle of the OE mindset, combining vigilance, innovative insight, and strategic solutions to create a competitive advantage that is exceptionally hard to replicate.”
What’s your True Edge, or what are you working to build?
I would say my True Edge is my ability to bring different perspectives together and work together with multiple stakeholders to improve the customer experience. Having worked in different functions—from content management to pricing, forecasting, and PPC—I’ve gained a broad understanding of how things connect. This helps me identify opportunities for improvement and make sure that our digital experience is not only engaging but also effective.
Right now, I’m focusing on strengthening the connection between content, user experience, and conversion optimization. By working closely with different teams, I hope to create a more seamless and customer-friendly journey across our digital platforms.
Can you share examples of how you live “OE”?
I try to apply the OE mindset by challenging myself to think beyond my direct responsibilities and looking for ways to improve the bigger picture. Another way I try to live OE is through teamwork. When I moved into a leadership role, one of my priorities was to bring my team together, create a structured way of working, and ensure that everyone felt motivated and aligned. This was especially important in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift quickly. By fostering open communication and clear goals, we’ve been able to navigate challenges more effectively.

What stands out about SharkNinja is the fast-paced, hands-on culture, where there’s always an opportunity to learn and grow. It’s a place where you can take ownership of projects, experiment with new ideas, and see the impact of your work.
Another thing that makes it special is the people. There’s a strong sense of teamwork, and it’s great to work with colleagues from all over the world who are motivated, open to collaboration, and always looking for ways to improve.
